Headquartered in Mumbai, our products are designed, sourced and produced in the city; allowing each shoe a touch of local expertise and a taste of global quality. Devika Bharadwaj continues to play a major role in the lives of indigenous artists, who are finding economic independence through the increasing popularity of their beautiful craft.

In 2000, we encountered an inspiring group of artisans and an idea was born: a way to combine our passion for fashion with a desire to help those in need. While our initial focus was on creating timeless leather footwear for women, we have been cognizant of the need to promote sustainable fashion and therefore, our more recent designs since the past year have been using man-made leather and sustainable fabrics like cotton and khadi.

At our core are our values to improve and promote local business and skills. We work with skilled shoe makers with decades of experience and with the same intent, our eco-friendly paper bags are made by an NGO that works with underprivileged women.
